#16I mean… sure but he always seems to have a problem with the QB and his first 3 years in the league make up 60% of his stats. I think his best years are behind him. #21I used to be a Browns season ticket holder for years before I left Cleveland. I watch EVERY game and have DVR. I totally agree. OBJ is open A LOT. Receivers are open A LOT. Baker just can't find him as well as other receivers. Baker is usually late on the passes, high when he does throw it and ZERO touch. He can make the easy pass to TE's and screens to RBs but he is just not consistent throwing to receivers. We can blame OBJ all we want but Baker is not finding ANY WR. I think teams have figure him and Stefanski out. They are good at dialing up scripted plays to start the game and come out at half but in crunch time? Forget about it. I don't want to totally blame Baker just yet because he could be held back by Stef. He takes zero chances. He's a game manager. That could be by design by Stef or that just could be Baker. In todays NFL you have to take your shots down the field.Originally posted by Darkside MagickUmmmmm.. Sure OBJ is a diva on the back end of his career. Is he worth the $15M? Not if you're only throwing the ball 2 times a game to him. A lot of people in Cleveland LOVE Baker and thinks he can do no wrong. Most hate OBJ, LBJ, etc. So they are blinded by reality. Baker is a below average QB right now. You can't blame that on one of his receivers.Comment -

#23He's running crazy routes because Baker won't throw the ball on time. The Browns lead the league in time to pass. Baker has like 2.8 seconds to throw the ball and he still can't find open receivers. It's awful. I can show you games where he had easy passes and he just didn't see the open receiver. WTF? Maybe he's too short? Maybe he's color blind? He does not process the field quickly.Originally posted by TheMetsSuckI was reading that obj is always running poor routes to the point baker has no idea where he’s going half the time and thats why his targets aren’t higher
I will always remember I was at the Raiders/Titans game where Rich Gannon beat them for the Raiders to get into the Superbowl. I was sitting at field level. I was blown away how quickly Gannon could scan the field and find receivers and hit them in tight spaces. That was an incredible game. The speed on the field was break neck. To this day I am amazed how quickly the game really is on the field compared to seeing it from above on TV. Great QBs can see it and make 2, 3, 4 reads immediately. Baker is not there yet.Comment -

#25Watching a great QB process those decisions at field level is really something to watch. It’s incredible how they are able to do it with such quickness.Originally posted by Mac4LyfeHe's running crazy routes because Baker won't throw the ball on time. #26I don't know about that CB. The guy is incredibly talented. He is getting open A LOT if you watch the games. He's had some WTF drops but I think a lot of that comes from not being used to getting the ball. It would be very Cleveland like for them to get rid of him and he catches 80 passes somewhere else.Originally posted by Cougar BaitLMAO where would Brady put him JJ? I think the Browns are not sold on Baker because they would have signed him to a long term deal if they were. I think we will soon see if they move forward with Baker or reset. I think they should play Keenum while Baker's not 100%. See what you have with your receivers. My gut tells me the Browns need more talent at WR and also need to find a franchise QB. I don't believe Baker is it, unfortunately.Comment -

#27I believe both are true as well. The question, does OBJ still have talent left? I can take an ass if they can produce. I've seen him running open a lot, so that tells me he still has talent. Does Baker stink? Right now he does. Is it the injury? He's shown glimpses of brilliance but chokes in crunch time. A lot of blame has to be thrown at Stefanski. Does he trust Baker? Why does he call the absolute worse plays in crunch time? The Browns are like 4 for 18 on fourth downs. Why the hell are you going for it on 4th down so much?Originally posted by vitterdObj is an ass. Baker stinks. Both are true.Comment -

#30Meant on Tampa not Cleveland, but you got OBJ higher than Antonio Brown, Mike Evans, or Chris Godwin? #32He could be #1 on that team. I'm serious. The guy is playing probably at 85% and is still getting open by a large margin which is hard to do in the NFL. Look at the video his father posted. He ain't lying. But I agree that TB has some baller receivers. I don't see why they would want to add another diva receiver.Originally posted by Cougar BaitMeant on Tampa not Cleveland, but you got OBJ higher than Antonio Brown, Mike Evans, or Chris Godwin? Houston took Watson off the market for that very reason... They know teams need a QB.. They know they can get the best off from the browns thN any team in the NFL... Jimmy Haslan probably sign off on a trade but will his wife Dee cosignComment
