#107I don't take shots. I was in the covid ward in the hospital on watch and was around hundreds of covid positive inmates for months. Nothing. No need to put a needle in my arm. Good for you for doing what you think is right but I won't. Glad you did what you though best for you.
I've never had the flu or even a cold in my life. I never took the flu shot. Why should I. I've never had Covid, maybe I'm immune but I got the vaccine because I personally knew too many people that died. I did not want to take the chance. I've been around a lot of people sick with Covid and I've never tested positive. Could be my immune system but I think it's the MRNA vaccine because my wife has been around a few covid people too and she's never tested positive and she normally gets colds and flu every season. I trust the Moderna vax, I know too many people that have had it and it's been pretty reliable. Very few breakthrough cases and most were mild symptoms.
I have a friend in Nashville that volunteers dentistry in prisons. Covid ran through those prisons like wildfire. He got it but recovered pretty quickly. They had a bunch of prisoners die though. Then they vaccinated a bunch of them and the numbers dropped like a rock. Even more reason why the vaccines work.
Tennessee's prisons have been host to large COVID-19 outbreaks throughout during the pandemic. At one point in May 2020, two of the country's worst COVID-19 hotspots were Tennessee prisons. But vaccine uptake in the state's prisons has outpaced that of the general population. As of last month, the department told the Scene that 60 percent of the more than 20,000 people incarcerated in the state have been fully vaccinated.Comment -

#108But anyone playing professional sports has to be stupid to not get vaccinated. The rules favor the vaccinated. Why would I want to put my team at risk over a simple shot in the arm? Kyrie Irving is one selfish mofo. That's my view. Rodgers is a lying cuck. He can't be trusted. Imagine if this happened the week before a playoff game. He's hurting his team and an entire fanbase.Comment -

#111Actually Georgia has done pretty good based on it's population as far as deaths. There's only been around (~28,000) deaths. Obviously good is relative if one your relatives is in that number. There has been a lot of people infected (about 10% of the population). At this point Covid is too far along and the hospitals are pretty much back to normal. Covid is on it's last legs. If everyone would have gotten vaccinated, we would have not had that huge Delta 2nd wave and probably saved about 200,000 people. But today we have enough people vaccinated and enough people that already had Covid. There's only a few people left (probably around 20%) that are unvaxxed and then kids which are not likely to get sick enough to go to the hospital. The remaining adults that are not vaxxed is their choice but they are most definitely getting sick and some are dying every day. But it is there choice at this point. Cases are dropping around the country. Transmission rates are very low.Comment -

#117There is a big difference...
Don't take the vax, your chances of getting Covid is much higher and you run the risk of being much sicker, possibly having a bad outcome.
Get the vax, and you have a much less chance of getting Covid, most likely be asymptomatic and rarely if ever have to go to the hospital or die.
If you survived covid already and have better antibodies than the vaccine what are the chances of getting covid again?Comment -

It's obvious that tons of athletes are faking the vaccinations as well. They have plenty of money. Would be real easy to fake it. The rules favor the ones that survived covid naturally and have the antibodies already. Kyrie Irving is fine living the way he wants too. It's selfish for him to lose millions of dollars? Rodgers is even better now. Imagine all the shots end up lowering your life in the end. Devonta adams and rodgers hurting the team? I'm pretty sure they are both the reasons the team is doing well even though they both got covid. The fans that enjoy freedom don't mind. The liberal cucks are the ones triggered.Comment -

#122Do what works for you. But for the vast majority of people, this virus has been highly contagious.

I also have a cast iron stomach. I can eat and drink food from other countries and rarely have an issue. Drink the water in Mexico, exotic foods in Asia. I have had food poisoning but I fared much better than my friends who had to go to the hospital (Steak and Ache). Was in the Philippines last year and EVERYONE told me not to drink the water or eat in local dives. I had no problem.Comment -

#127It is very simple. The Vaccines protect you at a much higher rate of getting covid than being unvaxxed. Also, if you get Covid, you have far less symptoms than unvaxxed. These are all proven facts. While no athlete in the NBA, NFL or NHL has died from Covid, A LOT have gotten very sick, several have had to sit out for weeks, some sat out an entire year and a few lost their careers due to Covid. Where are people getting this notion of Covid not affecting athletes? The athletes themselves have come out to say how rough Covid has been on their bodies. Rudy Gobert, NBA patient zero still does not have his taste and smell. Getting vaccinated reduces that.
Why are the rules different with vax and unvax. Well here's the real reason... It's based on science, thus the 10 day rule that most schools have as well. This is directly from the CDC.
Evidence suggests the U.S. COVID-19 vaccination program has substantially reduced the burden of disease in the United States by preventing serious illness in fully vaccinated people and interrupting chains of transmission. Vaccinated people can still become infected and have the potential to spread the virus to others, although at much lower rates than unvaccinated people.
The mRNA therapies cause the variants, they prolong the disease by causing selected spike mutations (and vaxx people don't have respiratory mucosal immunity so they carry viral load that naturally immune people don't). The most important point is that they don't give anyone immunity! This is a proof that the whole thing is based on far more than the lies you state.
If you want to "protect" 80 year olds, etc, fine, but stop lying about healthy people and worse, kids, for which you also support abusing them for something that has major side effects and for a disease that will do NOTHING to them.Comment -

#128Name those athletes, you're full of shit. Brandon Goodwin got the jab and it ruined his season. There are 100s of people, even athletes, around the world dropping on soccer pitches and in the stands from pericardial effusions and myocarditis from the jabs, and you can't name barely any athlete that naturally got sarscov2 and had a bad outcome. I have a list of 100s, recently, Aguero, recently the Icelandic footballer, the Danish player a few months ago, the list goes on and on.

a) There was plenty of attention being paid to the Adams story last week.
b) The Rodgers story is getting a lot of attention because of reasons/factors that are not race related.
Substitute Mahomes for Rodgers using the same circumstances this story would still get the same amount of attention.

A- not even close to Rodgers story. I'm guessing you definitely hot vaccinated with your biased opinions.
B it definitely is race related. They act like kyrie isnt nearly as bad or angry other black athlete that got covid.

#140You really are a dumb fukkk. Adams is vaccinated. Rodgers said he was immunized and obviously lied to everyone. He broke NFL mask and social distance rules as a result. If Rodgers was vaccinated, no one would give a shit about a breakthrough. All he would have to do is pass 2 negative tests. But because he's not vaccinated, he's gone for 10 days. He totally lied and fukkked his team in the process. If he was a man instead of a switch hitter, he would have just come out and said he was not getting vaccinated like 10% of the Packers who are not vaccinated.
This has nothing to do with race you dumb shit. You are worse than race baiters.Comment
