The Rubio injury hurts a ton - but I still think +2700 offers some value. Maybe get a nice buy-out in a few weeks.
Man, I don't know. Cleveland teams seem cursed with injuries and covid. We just can't have nice things. I'd only jump if you can get a bigger number like +5000. It's a total crapshoot on teams being healthy in this league. You can't really cap that.

Clarkson was dead eye from distance. That team isn't the same without Gobert, but did you ever notice when he sits Royce plays like Bill Russell.Utah's my favorite team, Royce O'Neale frustrates me to no end.He plays like all universe one game and the next he turns into a hamburger.
When fully healthy, Utah is the best shooting team in the league. I put them up even Brooklyn. They put so much stress on defenses because they shoot so well. Royce needs to be more consistent but most nights and especially in the playoffs you only need a few minutes from him anyway. Utah, Phoenix or Warriors out West. I'm leaning Warriors as they will try to spin the Klay Thompson return. Warriors vs Brooklyn would be a ratings bonanza for the NBA.

Luv the shot that rondo directed towards Westbrook in the media. This is a team you have to root for in the playoffs if you played bball on any competitive level

Can you imagine Rondo riding the pine watching Westbrick lose games each night? Especially after they've had beef through the years. He couldn't wait to get the hell out of LA. The Lakers and Lebron are backing guys who are "me" first and not team. Carmelo, WestBrick. Good luck with that. The Cavs should make a deeper playoff push than those entitled old farts.
Rondo was clearly talking about RW with the following when he became a Cav.
Out there with teammates that care and want to win, just playing hard."

Cavs are real easy to root for.
I was a month late to this thread but I've been eye balling them since preseason.
They ain't winning a chip this season, doesn't mean they aren't fun to watch.

Take that fifty and bet the Cavs tomorrow against the Spurs and double up and take them vs Thunder on Saturday. It'll be a crapshoot the 2 games after that vs the Nets and the Bulls, so lay off. They'll then cover 8 out of the next 10 (if healthy). You can do very well betting the Cavs in the right spots.

What if they make a blockbuster trade for Ben Simmons? Or if Sexton comes back?
I heard Altman is having dinner with Rich Paul (Simmons agent) and Adele tonight.
Cannot give up Garland, Mobley or Allen.

Cavs are only -3.5 to the Spurs tonight. What am I missing? Derrick White is out for the game with Covid. How are they going to score going up against the Cavs 7 footers. This line smells but I have to hammer the Cavs for the trifecta. 1st quarter, 1st half, game line. I am locked and loaded fairly large.
I think the under is a good play as well.

The Cavs are making all the right moves...
Cleveland Cavaliers add former NBA guard Jose Calderon to front office
CLEVELAND -- The Cavaliers are bringing back former guard José Calderón as a special adviser in their front office, the team announced Friday. Calderón played 14 seasons in the NBA, spending the 2017-18 campaign in Cleveland as the Cavs made their fourth straight trip to the Finals. The 40-year-old was with the Detroit Pistons in 2018-19.
With the Cavs, Calderón will assist Koby Altman, the team's newly named president of basketball operations. "We are thrilled to add someone of José Calderón's background and experience to our front office," said Altman, who received a contract extension this week. "His accomplishments as a basketball player and familiarity with our organization will be invaluable. "We look forward to his insights and perspective on how we can continue moving this team forward and enhancing our efforts towards sustainable and long-term success here in Cleveland." The Cavs are 24-18 after winning just 22 games last season. They play in San Antonio on Friday. Calderón averaged 8.9 points and 5.8 assists in 895 career games. He played on four Olympic teams for Spain, winning two silver medals and a bronze.

First half cashed too.
Now just need the game line for the Trifecta. Cavs defense looks really shitty tonight. Not closing out on shooters and getting blown by for layups. Dejaunte Murray is killing Cavs. WTF?

Fukkking Cavs have missed a dozen free throws tonight. WTF? Make your damn throws you bastards.
Dejaunte Murray is nice. He can really play the game. I need to look at prop bets with him. Looks like an All Star to me.

Mac, very nice win. Even if it looked good going in, that's one of those road games that can easily slip away. 3-1 on the road trip thus far.
One request. Try to list your specific plays b4 each Cavs game. Or are you playing them blindly?
If we can see Game/1Q/1H etc, would be a cool thing to track. Best of Luck!
If you want to try one of those futures at long odds, let me know. I'd be willing to back you for a little action.

I pretty much have Cavs 1st quarter, 1st half and game and or ML when dogs on auto. Except when they lost Garland and Rubio.

Chucky - I posted this play earlier. I have NBA league pass and try to catch shootarounds to see who's actually playing and who's not, so sometimes I'll change a bet by tip off. I've hammered a few games just by watching shootarounds and seeing who has the most Gleaguers. lol. You also get to see games without commercials and can get a good feel what's really going on in the arena, plus some of the halftime shows are great. That alone pays for league pass. I love it.

Wow, good stuff, Mac. I admit I don't read all the posts. So, I miss a lot.
League pass sounds great. That lineup info is huge. I'm in your corner. I think bettors are missing the mark on the Cavs.
My opinion is that COVID has made the sports-betting mkt impossible to book accurately. If you feel like you have a knowledge edge vs the market line, go with it. Who can keep up w/ all these COVID roster scratches?

I'm on Cavs large tonight as well. Trifecta bet, 1st q -1.5, 1st half -2 and game -5.
The Thunder have been dog water this season but have looked good the last couple of weeks even in losses, which is concerning. They just blew out the depleted Nets. The Cavs have to first stop Shai G-A and make sure they close out on Dort, Muscala and I'm not sure who guards Giddey, who is really playing well as a rookie. The Thunder are really small up front. I expect Allen, Mobley and Markannen to feast. We will pretty much know early if the real Thunder shows up or if they are hitting a groove on offense. The Cavs defense has been leaking oil imo, not closing out to shooters and not moving their feet. They are uncharacteristically fouling more and giving up more points in the paint. Not good.
If the Thunder start slow, then this could be a blowout win for the Cavs.

1st quarter Cavs dead money. These refs are absolutely awful. They gave the Thunder that quarter. Blowing the whistle 5 seconds after the play is over. Foul shit.

All that for a push. Jarrett Allen missed a free throw that would have won the bet. Cavs have really sucked from the free throw line the last 2 games. Got to clean that shit up. Oh well, on to Monday. Cavs play Brooklyn and it looks like Durant is out after spraining his knee.

Cavs are faves vs Durant less Nets this afternoon. 3pm ET.
I'm on the Cavs 1st quarter -1, 1st half -1.5 and game -3.
I'm hoping the team is very motivated to stop Kyrie, especially.
