C.Williams is a play maker they should stick with him unless he gets injured even with the entire team sleep walking for 2 quarters today on the road vs 1 win team after the texas rally + the following week's prime time blowout win

up 4... 4th and 3 vs Kansas on 40 yard line kansas has 2 guys to stop him short and they both tried weak 1 arm tackles and he slipped past both to the house


so it's looking more like we'll get another opportunity to fade Oklahoma in the playoffs SBR

Big 12 refs bailed them out on that last 4 down. There is no way that was a 'legal' handoff to the qb, can you even do a double handoff to the guy who took the snap, not that it was a designed play to have the qb rip the ball out from his own rb. I don't know it was weird as hell. They will come out and say they made a bad call, but at the end of the day they couldn't risk their last hope at a playoff spot go down the drain because of a loss to Kansas.

You could be right, the thing I'm questioning is since it was the qb who got the ball back if that is legal because with like a flea flicker, doesn't it need to be a toss back to be legal. Either way, it was a smart play by Williams, nothing to lose since the rb was stopped short anyway.

Forward progress should have been called, he was stopped short and pushed back 3 yards while in control of multiple defenders. If he'd gone down with the ball they damn sure would have awarded him forward progress. Kansas got hosed on that play. Doesn't mean they would have won, but doesn't mean they wouldn't have either.
