I just don't understand the infatuation with Garcia and the Astros in game 6. But there are several reasons for backing the Red Sox in this situation. I'm already convinced but I'll spell it out for the rest of the Forum. Boston is battle tested having already faced elimination in the Wild Card game against the Yankees. Then the Red Sox disposed of a 100 game win team in the Rays. No easy task. The Boston bats are quite capable and seem to show up when needed. This is a solid team team in a happy clubhouse and Cora has them streaking at the right time. Getting out of the pressure cooker of Fenway is NOT a bad thing for this team. In Eovaldi they trust. Garcia has been HORRIBLE in his last 3 games and he is obviously hurting. How is he able to pitch another playoff game limping around on an injured right knee? He can't push off the rubber. NOT a good thing to be screwing around with pitching mechanics which injuries can do. A successful bullpen session is a far cry from another starting assignment. I predict an early hook. JMHO.
