I have taken Murray a few times this year and he's delivered for me. Just yesterday I took him over Tiafoe live. The match was epic, really.. a 3 setter, all tiebreakers. Murray is in great form. He's moving impressively and has lots of stamina, and has a full day of rest. Schwartzman would be a dubious pick against him. The court has been playing pretty quick, this favors Murray who is usually the harder hitter. Conditions will be perfect, indoors.
Although to some it may be surprising Andy is not getting much respect from oddsmakers, much of this oddsmaking in the earlier rounds, like R16, is rankings-factored. Andy's rank post-recovery is still only 172, while Diego's is 13. Andy is 17/12 in 2021, whereas Diego is 32/20, 52 matches to 29. Although it is true Diego has become a much better hard court player in recent years, clay remains his best surface. Diego's last match was 6 days ago at Indian Wells, where he got blasted by Cameron Norrie, 0-6, 2-6.
