Flores probably wouldn't have done anything even if he got the right call on the checked swing, but it's frustrating to see a team do so well in the season and have their post season end on an incorrect judgement-the mlb's check swing appeal is strictly a judgement by the 1st/3rd base umpire, there is no clear cut rule. My bigger gripe was the strike zone. I think I counted 1 pitch that went the Giants way last night, compared to the 6 or 7 that went the Dodgers. Either way, it was a heck of a season for the Giants.

Then the count was 1-2 (Fangraphs doesn’t do win %’s for specific counts).
