I’ve never not been offered a job after an interview. Not one time. Dress sharp. Make eye contact the entire time. Pretend you are in a fantastic mood. If they ask if you ever had a bad manager or anything like that say “I’m pretty lucky I’ve always had good managers” never say anything negative or even slightly negative about last jobs, bosses, or companies you had in the past. If they ask “Do you have any questions for me?” Make sure you have at least a couple. If they ask what happened with your previous job you gotta getGeorge Constanza style and make up something that was circumstantial. May I ask what type of job? I guarantee I can get you to nail the interview.

Obviously tell them you like coffee. If you are not familiar with their menu look it up online and be ready to reference at least 2 or 3 drinks they serve. Show up ten minutes early and order a coffee from them as well. Be all cheesy and cornball while placing your order even if inside you are really thinking how badly you want bludgeon the person taking your order with a hammer.

If they ask the question if there is a life threatening storm coming and there are three people stranded a 90 year old lady, your best friend, and the woman of your dreams and you only have one seat what do you do? I said leave the old lady there she will likely die soon anyway, let my best friend drive while I will lay on the floorboard and let the woman of my dreams sit on my face. Apparently that wasn't the correct answer I didn't get the job.

Wear a suit and tie, if they ask you if you want something to drink always say yes even if your not thirsty.

At the end of the interview ask for the job, a lot of people forget this step. Also tell them you have a baby on the way and you are a family man and putting food on the table for your family is your why.
