Check out the Parkette Drive-In. It’s a cool vintage place with some of the best Diner style food you’ve ever eaten. I took my crew there last time I was in town and it was awesome. The burgers, fried chicken, fish and onion rings are to die for!

The place has been around since the 50’s and is a national landmark. Guy Fieri and Bobby Flay have both profiled the place on their shows, with Guy Fieri’s Diners, Drives Ins and Dives proclaiming Parkettes one of the top 10 places of all time.

Try the KY “Hot Brown” Burger and the fried chicken, wow!
Prices are reasonable and the food is excellent. Check them out Philly, not to be missed bro.

Turfway is 45 minutes from Lexington. Jeff ruby owned the waterfront but it sank.Montgomery inn is good. There are a few around turfway or you can head down 75 north til you get to cig.and find couple near the river. Jeff Ruby’s was where the athletes hung out but it sank.

Speaking of old castles in Kentucky, before they restored the old Taylor distillery we were about to sneak on to the grounds. It was abandoned and more than a little creepy and then two random dudes in a truck stopped on the road and asked us what we were doing. We left immediately lol.
