After this game last year Ole Miss was a good fade against Arkansas (who was nowhere near what they are today let’s not forget) because of this very reason. I remember thinking Ole Miss was not built to play what was basically two games in one and have hope for so long only to get their hearts ripped out in the fourth quarter, then turn around and be fine on the road the next week. They were a mess against Arkansas. Now this year Ole Miss seems much stronger so next week might not be a strong fade but something to consider for either team honestly, but moreso for Ole Miss of course due to depthComment -

For what it’s worth I think Ole Miss with Kiffin will be the first ex-assistant team to upset Saban. Georgia tries to play Bama’s game and I just don’t think they’ll ever quite be able to get over the hump, or if they do it’ll be after Kiffin does. I think within the next three years Ole Miss gets it done with Kiffin. I don’t think this is a terrible bet either, maybe a tit premature but I’ll definitely be watching, not sure if I’ll bet it or notComment -

Let’s also not forget that outside of Auburn who builds their program specifically to try to win the Iron Bowl, Ole Miss is the only team that’s had any level of continued success against Bama. I think it was 2014 and 2015 that Ole Miss beat them back to back, home and away. You may say that doesn’t matter, that was multiple regimes ago, different players, etc, but I guarantee it plays into the Ole Miss players’ overall belief that they can hang with these guys and beat them. I’m sure Lane has mentioned it too lest they forget.
It’s Bama, they can whoop anyone’s ass, but this moneyline has some value I think. I bet the lines the next couple of years are tighter too.Comment -

As a Bama fan, I believe Kiffin will be the 1st assistant to beat Coach Saban. I also can see him as Bama's next coach when Saban retires (in 25 years or so.)

You made some very good points about Ole Miss and they did give Bama Defense all they wanted last year!!
As a gambler I too think that the money line has value. Can Bama get stops against them cause I think Bama scores at least in the 40s maybe Bama can hold them to under 28. Look for Alabama to be at least +2 in turn overs if so I think they cover easy If Ole Miss wins the turn overs could be a long day!!Comment -
