Been leaving voicemail messages every day since last Thursday about calling me back for post reassignment & they have yet to respond. Before they changed offices last year whenever I'd call, I'd at least get someone on the phone, now everything goes to voicemail. Emailed a couple of HR employees today & no response. If they fired me for going on UI that's fine I could deal with it, but don't ghost me & not respond.

varies by state. I think federally that if the company is over a certain threshold of employees, they have to inform the employee in change in employment status. Got my last DD in April been on UI ever since so that wouldn't tell me anything Manny. I'm an at-will employee not under contract meaning they could bounce me from post to post at their discretion or fire me at a moment's notice without cause. There is a labor shortage because of the dumb economic policies of this administration extending benefits when the economy is trying to open up. There likely is no one in to take your calls because of the work shortage.
You should find out if you have been fired though, because the date is important for unemployment benefits if you go that route.Comment
