He's sort of like a Bridgewater or Bridgewater is like him. He's a game manager. He can hold a lead and make the throws, but if he gets behind; they'll sack him and he won't beat you. This team is much worse than he had before and they have no serious WR threat. Hockenson is find as a 0-15 yard threat, but that's all Goff has. I really can't say he's great, but he's not garbage.
