I just sent in my Survivor picks to my proxy. Here is what I took

I took Cincinnati with 2 entries and Buffalo with the other one. It is actually not very smart to take Buffalo this week because there are so many other weeks to take Buffalo later in the contest. The entries who save Buffalo will definitely have a better shot at going 20-0. I think that at least 10 people will go 20-0 this year, probably closer to 25 players because there are so many bad teams this year.

There are a lot of players who have 12 entries. I talked to a guy who went 18-0 last year and he has 12 entries. So those guys can save a lot of teams.

I am going to Vegas next week. I arrive late Friday night. Did you see how i went 6-2 in the William Hill College contest? I had a real shitty week in my 2 entries of the Circa Millions contest. Dallas was an easy winner for me for both entries, but my other 2 big plays in Tampa and New England both got killed. That 2-3 week really hurts.

The million dollar question - if you didn't take Buffalo who would you have taken this weekend? New Orleans, Tennessee. 560 folks lost on those 2....you have to get lucky. If New England can come back we will be down to 2300 entries. Congrats on advancing.

I actually went 5-0 in BOTH of my Circa Million entries. They were not all the same 5 plays either.

So my overall record is 15-5 and 14-6. And I STILL probably not even in the top 100

Here were my main plays this week

Well I no longer have a good run going in the Circa Millions so no reason to even show what I took this week. I am now 16-9 and that really sucks in this contest. But here are my Survivor picks. I still have 3 entries left, but that is just the norm.

Right now I think that there will be around 30-50 people who finish the year undefeated. With a huge upset it might go down to 15 or so, so I want to save a few teams.

In one of my entries I used the LA Rams earlier this year. I want to save them for later in the year for the other 2 entries. Also, there are MUCHHHH better weeks to take Indianapolis than this week.

Therefore, I will use Indy in 1 entry and Pittsburgh in the other 2 entries.

Sure there are better weeks to take Pitt, but in those same 2 weeks that are better I can use other teams like Indy that week. I am worried about Houston this week. I did take Houston as 1 of my picks in the Millions contest.

Buddy- I'm in these tournaments every year. Got a quarterly prize in 2019, top 250 last year. Play the long game here. It ebbs and flows. I had a slow start in 2019 and then heated up... The people that have strong starts usually slow down as well. The guys at the top won't be the winners at the end. I've seen it every single year. 16-9 is still solid and keep chipping away. You also could win a quarterly prize. Good luck pal. The lines are also usually a half a point off which sucks... at times. I'm at 15-10 right now and not the least bit worried. Plenty of opportunity left. Good luck. I have one survivor entry: Rams this week.

Well I went 3-2 with both entries last week. For this week in the Survivor, I want to take a small risk.

For 1 entry, I will use New England. I can only use them for 1 entry because I have already used NE in both of my other 2 entries. There is really only 1 more week of the season to for sure use NE and that is Week 17. It just so happens that entry has already used LA Rams

For my other 2 entries, 1 of them has used Tampa Bay. I want to save TB one the other entry as I havent used great teams yet. So I am thinking about taking Baltimore in both of my other 2 entries. Should I use La Rams in one of those entries? there are 2 other weeks to take the Rams later this season. I will post my final decision tomorrow. But here is what I have used in my 3 entries

#42 Tampa Bay, New England, Carolina, Cincinnati, Minnesota, Indianapolis (well I have used some shitty teams)
#A&P LA Rams, Cleveland, Carolina, Cincinnati, Minnesota, Pittsburgh (New England this week for sure)
#49 Carolina, Cleveland, Denver, Buffalo, New England, Pittsburgh

I think that I have saved some good teams with all of the entries. My guess is that after the 20 picks, there will be around 50-75 entries who finish 20-0 with these shitty teams this year

Here is a story for you about my Dad. Back in the early stages of the Texas Lottery he hit 5 out of 6. I think that the Jackpot was about 15 or 20 million.

Well he only bought 2 tickets and took all birthdays and other dates. Well because all 6 number were under 20 that were drawn I think, there were a lot of winners of that day of the 6 out of 6 and of course a ton of people who won 5 out of 6.

Well my dad had no idea how it worked and he is a physician so the money didnt really matter too much. But we honestly thought that he would win like $100,000 for picking 5 out of 6. Well God Damnit if he only won like $3400 for picking 5 out of 6 numbers.

Back then there were only about 50 numbers to choose from I think and of course no powerball. But we really thought that it would pay a lot. But he only won $3400 and he has never played again. That is how pissed off he was that getting that lucky and not winning shit
