At 50 I'm probably older than the average age here and got to see a lot of Norm. Any of you that don't really know who he is take a Youtube dive and you'll be rewarded. He was one of a kind for sure. Just an all around comedy genius. And, unfortunately, probably a (literally) dying breed. Everyone is too afraid of pushing the envelope these days. The biggest thing I remember him for is just going after OJ with both barrels after he whacked his wife and Ron Goldman. I don't think that sat well with some of the NBC folks due to past relationships, etc.
RIP Norm Macdonald. I thank you for many instances of gut aching laughter over the years.

Beautifully said.
I'm 46 and remember watching him all the time. He truly was one of a kind. He brought laughter and joy by taking us away from reality for an hour a week and it was great.

Good Lord, I loved that guy.
Watched Norm when it aired, watched A Minute With Stan Hooper when it aired.. the Netflix show. Saw Dirty Work in the theater!
Went to a Letterman taping once in my life, and he happened to be one of the guests. My buddy and I were the only ones giving him a standing ovation when he came out.
Great comic, will be greatly missed. RIP Norm.

If you believe box office receipts indicate quality, fair enough. Keep on handing your money over for rubbish. Norm wasn't for everyone. Most folks I know that love him are intelligent. Go watch "Dumb and Dumber" again.

If everyone in the NFL disappeared tomorrow....the XFL or something else would pop up again
Id be fine with that
No celebrity helps my life at all
like i said, i feel sorry for all of you guys that rely on that.
sbr posters fill that void for me....and i care about almost all of them here
Quite simply, Norm has brought a TON of laughter into my life, for many years. That made my life better. Laughter is good.

You either love Artie or you hate Artie.
Jackie carried Howard all those years.
And Howie knows it.

It was for a Carrot Top movie that he made fun of you weren't paying attention.

That's sad if anonymous posters on a message board fill that void for you.
its sadder when the void is filled by someone youve never had a conversation with
i mean i dont like a few posters but id exponentially care more if any of their close relatives died than any celebrity

where would you be in life?
