Not sure your comparison to the Mich/Wash game is accurate. Washington's offense is so handcuffed that their defense loses their legs over time.

I'm inclined to agree with Brock here. The only way Illinois has a shot in hell is to control the clock with the running game and force turnovers, possibly turnovers for scores on defense. They are a lot like the Bears actually. Overmatched at all the skill positions and no depth. Look at the Maryland receivers. Demus, Jarrett, even Jones is good. Illinois doesn't scare you on offense because they really have no identity. Who are you game planning to stop? It's basically the run game. And has this fuk Epstein ever made it more than 1 or 2 games in a season? The guy should write a book on how to stay in college for a decade.

I like Illinois to lose by more than 7 but I'm buying to a TD in case there's back door bullshit or something crazy. These weeknight games always seem to showcase some shenanigans. GL with the Rubberband, I think you'll hit it.
