It’s official UC, BYU, UCF, and Houston to Officially Join Big 12

Will Start in 2023.

I think it’s a good move for all 4 schools. BYU finally joining a conference.

I think Big 12 will compete with ACC and pac-12 for the 3rd best power 5 conference. Outside of Kansas in football that is a solid football conference. Basketball improves with BYU, UC and Houston. Obviously can’t replace Texas and Oklahoma but given what was out there I think a good move.

This was probably as close to the best 4 programs out there that they could get. On the football side, it's not Texas/Oklahoma, but it's still solid. In basketball, this is now a great conference. Kansas, Baylor, Houston, West Virginia and Cincinnati. I think it surpasses the SEC in hoops.
