This is a very hard match to envision in your mind before it happens. The line is right, though. If Raducanu keeps Fernandez at the baseline and corners she will win. Fernandez has to move the ball up and push Raducanu into the service court. I feel somewhat doubtful but these girls are so young, there is no way to tell. So I'm waiting to see what shapes up in the early games. If I see Fernandez exploiting an edge, I will not hedge until Raducano becomes a dog then feel it out. But if Raducanu gets up a break I will keep Fernandez on a short leash because I doubt her ability to take 2 sets if she loses the first.

How did wta players let this happen? This is what I simply don't understand about women's tennis. How can you, as a top player, allow a qualifyer to win the us open?

This is why serena is one of the only wta players on tour who is a great, great champion. The girl has two dozen majors and she would never allow this in her prime. She has the laser focus of a top men's player like a nadal type. I'm still waiting to see who is that next person on the wta tour. This is embarassing on so many levels for the veterans on tour. 18 yrs old, qualifyer.

This is why tv ratings are down too for the women's matches, because there's no consistent pure force on tour besides serena and maybe osaka when she's healthy mentally.

I would let it roll. I never hedge in gambling, never. I always bet futures and they've worked out a great deal for me. Always have confidence in your picks. I guess it's no different than stocks. Some ppl will sell at a 25% spike, others will hold on forever and get 5000% gains or risk getting nothing. If you want to make big money gambling, you shouldn't be hedging anything unless you have big big money in play and you can just scalp everything and make a couple thousand a day doing that.

I slammed the bucks for a 1000 at nearly 4/1 odds when down 2-0, could have easily hedged at 2-1/2-2, or anything along the way. Na. I saw something that the books didn't see. Happens all the time. Use your competitive advantage.

I know. As I explained above, if I had few thousand or more I would have got insurance, thought about buying 150 or 300 worth - but decided instead it risk it.
