Had season tix last few years of the dome - section 231 front row left field bullpen.
Drove from college to go to to the no-no by Mike Scott to clinch the division.
Nolan is a customer of mine in Austin/G'town.

Funny story about Kevin Bass. I don't THINK I posted it on here b4:

*Bass was a prospect in the early 80s. This was only a few years after ESPN started. Chris Berman got rolling on the player nicknames, and it was really fresh.

George Brett, in particular, loved the Berman nicknames. Spiced up the highlights for sure. Pure boxscore stats can get dry.

So, Bass was a recent call-up. Berman was calling that night's game. At batting practice, Bass sees Berman standing next to the cage.

Berman had not yet donned a nickname on the young prospect. So, Bass requests "Please make it SMALL-MOUTH Bass."

Berman laughed and said "You got it." And Berman stuck to his promise, calling him Kevin "Small Mouth" Bass through the remainder of his career.
