Rick been catching all fukking day in Orlando, front endof a double header, and was 0-4 for the day, followed by 2 hours of bullpen sessions lol
So he wants to take some live BP and JR is headed to the pen for a session. He asks the pitching coach if JR can throw in the cage for his session and they're like 'sure'
So Rick digs in after JR gets loose and JR throws the 1st pitch into Rick's ribs, the second pitch high and tight, the 3rd pitch into Rick's ribs again and then drops a hook which caused Colvet to literally step out of the box and duck and fall backwards lol
He chucked his bat and hit the showers lol

What? We need to get to 75% to reach herd immunity. Blacks make up 13% of the US population. Blacks aren't holding nothing up. The media has been urging blacks and Hispanics to get vaxxed. They run ads nonstop trying to attract minorities. The local news are constantly showing blacks and Hispanics in hospitals.
Blacks and Hispanics traditionally do not trust the medical profession because there's a history of medical bias. Many of them are vaccine hesitant (not refusal) as a result of not being included in the process. Look at clinical trials in the US. Most trials, including MRNA studies over 10 years ago used primarily white people in the trials. 2 cardiovascular trials in the US had over 2,000 white people and just 30 people of color participants. No wonder they are hesitant. Many have said they are sit and wait mode but a record number got the jab last week in Texas. I think we'll see a lot more getting the jab in the next few months. It is pretty sad that so many blacks and Hispanics have already died from Covid and most blacks/Hispanics know people who have died from Covid but many still don't trust the vaccine. Seems strange but at least they can still be reached.Comment -

Most surveys have blacks and Hispanics saying that they will wait and see, while whites are flat out saying "NO", they will not get the vaccine. Could the surveys be wrong? Of course.
Who told me 75% to herd immunity? No one. I already know that based on previous viruses like Polio, measles, mumps, it takes 70% to 90% to defeat it. You can never eradicate it but you can at least keep it under control. and NO it may not be okay for 75 vaccinated people to sit in a restaurant with 25 unvax. That has nothing to do with herd immunity.
