NC Residents- Chances of online sports betting bye 2022?

I'm not sure that I want to stay in the Virginia Beach area, due to the high cost of buying a condo/townhouse here. Yes, I could use a large % of my money to buy a good place (Down payment), but for what reason? Not ruling out many places to live that have online sports gambling. From my reading a few months ago it seemed a 50% chance for NC to follow Va. Without doubt NC is less expensive for a place to live.
My credit score went to 806 after paying off all debts, but the prices of housing didn't drop.

meanwhile... staggering numbers of mobile bets continue to be placed within a 10 mile radius of the ohio state lines with PA, IN, Virginia, etc.... and the state continues to lose out on that tax revenue
