    Ex slipknot drummer dies aged 46

    Joey Jordison, who was a founding member of the band Slipknot and shot to fame as their drummer, has died. His family announced in a statement that he passed on in his sleep.

                    Wow. Guy was a pretty big influence for me when I was a young drummer. I obviously moved on to the real shit with the technical death metal but listening to this guy on their first album gave me some solid ideas for using double bass.

                        I don't if he was heartbroken cause he got the sack from slipknot for no good reason. Maybe he got on some drugs that effect his health being in slipknot meant everything to him.

                                  They are a Local Des Moines Band, they have already had another member die i first moved here to Central Iowa in 04 and he died in 06 i think his name was Grey.The Lead Singer has another Band Stone Sour.Not a Slipknot fan there to Dark Metal for me remind me of Gwar.I remember hereing this when i watched That Metal Show On Vh1.
