In fairness to the NBA player, why SHOULD they care? Take a guy like Holiday. Played a long playoffs, wins Finals, attend the parade (I think), then jet off to Japan to prep for the Olympics.

the guys who were in the nba finals shouldnt have played. I wouldnt be surprised if this has a lingering effect next year since it will be like a normal season again (mid-october start, 82 games which they havent seen in 2 years, mid june end). But then they will blame the NBA for making them play games on back to back days. Just imagine having to work two days in a row. Such a hard thing. Then again they can take the night off so that family that spent $500 plus can go to game and dad can try to explain to them that they superstar guys needed to rest. People sort of forget his start as the Spur coach. He fired Hill and moved down to take over the team:
