Looking at it I sort of agree with you that it kind of looks like I'm choking the ball cuffing it with my wrist but that's just the way I throw. Next time out I'll try to throw more sidearm-3/4 to see if that makes a difference.

Thanks KB it was a 7 MPH improvement over Sun but I doubt I could pick up any more than 3-5 MPH unless there's a significant mechanical adjustment. Since I already got $500 invested in the gun I might even hire a pitching coach for a one day lesson for $100 to $200 to workout any kinks in my delivery to add a few MPH. ( At this point that seems like a better investment than spending that much on a whore for a quick little fucky sucky.)

Funny you should ask I actually have a pretty good curve. I'll throw a few next time but considering how slow the readings are, it will probably be in the 30s.

think it through. Where is that Camera angle compared to Doug's Camera angle.

The camera is about 400 feet away zoomed in, and 50 feet above him. tall pitcher throwing off a nearly 1 foot elevated surface. At an angle our brain and eyes have seen thousands of 90-100 mph's

try finding angles right behind the pitcher if you want to do a foolhardy eye test. If you are in person or same camera angle. 60 is pretty darn fast.

again slow it down to the .25 speed option on youtube. Time it from the time it leaves the hand to the time it crosses the plate BEFORE the catcher receives it. the eyes may lie, but we can always confirm with timing. do a few trials take an avg. I got between 2:58 and 2:71 In line with the time from Doug's first day throws when he says he was at 60'6

You’re losing 2-4 mph without a mound. For farting around purposes move your strike zone box down 11 inches.

You still won’t be able to “fall forward” properly without a real mound.

Gonna give it another go today & change things up. No wind up, just gonna pitch from the stretch throwing side arm-3/4. If the radar is still giving these inaccurate bullshit readings I think by doing this I could at least go from 57 to 65.

The slow knuckle ball by some can sometimes be mistake for the fast ball. ..
