There are 2 Seperate purposes for the vaccine. To keep people from getting covid and to keep people from getting seriously ill from covid. As long as people aren’t getting very ill from covid just getting it isn’t a big deal.

What I do know is that it is rare to get reinfected with Covid. I would bet that it is just as rare to get Covid twice as it is to get Covid after being fully vaccinated.

I'm not following you? I was tested for Covid weekly. I never got it. I got both Moderna shots in January. I've been around several people that got covid, including a player on my basketball team that was sick for 2 weeks and another friend who came to my house and ate lunch at my kitchen table. His wife and daughter who were unvaccinated got Covid. I never missed a beat. I've been at casinos, sporting events, indoor bars and have not gotten covid yet. There are millions of people who have never had Covid. A lot more people have not have Covid versus the few that have had it.

My other place of employment is in government.

The city Manager, assistant manager, and chief of police all got the vaccination, in accordance with their profession.

All 3 still got covid later and two were in the hospital for nearly a week.

One, the assistant, is currently out/home a second time with it.

I haven't looked or not sure of official numbers but I would think that more people have had zero symptoms who have had it versus those who have had symptoms.
