He's right. You're all arm and getting no extension w/your legs. IDK about 75 though? Maybe? I hit 66 mph at 52 yrs old in 2019 and I have pretty solid form since I pitched in high school and was coached pretty well.

that radar seems to be working for your tennis serve. That was definitely around 80. Your toss is way too low. You are hitting the ball too early as a result and off balance. I've hit 120 in my day.. lol not to brag, but definitely to brag. My second serve is usually a kick serve and is faster than that one above. I think the ttwarrior video of him taking serves were much faster than this one. Come on dougy! mb stick to the baseball part

That's 71-72 mph. The radar gun measures the ball out of the hand, not over the plate. With your current arm speed and age, you have no chance of getting above 80.

I pretty much agree with you that probably is low 70s but this might sound like an excuse but I'm really not rearing back & throwing at max effort. Since I first started throwing a couple wks. ago I've been feeling tightness in the lower part of my shoulder so this is probably 90% effort. Once that goes away in a couple weeks I could def. add at least 5MPH.

Verifiable proof that I was throwing at least in the 70s. Just had a 20 minute chat with one of their reps who basically said It was a set up issue. Since the radar is only 5' behind me instead of 10' to15' like it should be it's not getting an accurate beam which is only the size of a quarter. He told me to stand 5' to 10' closer to the wall & tilt the radar slightly down to get an accurate reading. He said even though it's less than 60' it would still be accurate because it's providing the reading right out of my hand. I'm gonna start posting 2 vids/wk every Thurs & Sun. 85 might be far fetched but I guarantee I'll hit at least 80 by the end of the summer. That's a link to the phone call but I doubt it will work.

I hit the youtube cog button and slow that Greinke pitch down to .25 speed and stop watch it and get 2.54 seconds to cross the plate
