I am very confused about statutes for market manipulation. You have short reports coming out each month against companies taking billions off their cap. You have hedge fund and etf managers on CNBC daily talking down or up stocks. You have government, treasury & Federal reserve officials make comments that move the market...I am just trying to understand who is allowed to speak and who isn’t?

I see what you're saying but for the most part, and with exceptions, you can't talk if you have a vested interest. Now I know that's a whole nutha discussion when it comes to the Fed, etc, but in some cases as long as you disclose your holdings you can talk it up.

Cryptos aren't regulated markets, from a legal standpoint there is no such thing as market manipulation.
