One of the reasons people think that the wind is already baked into the line is that they don't stick around to see that it often isn't.

If you want to realize the advantages things like weather will bring, you have to be prepared to do it over many, many plays.

A spot play weather bet is a short term failing strategy, win or lose, if bettors don't stick around for the longer term.
