Pretty sure it wasn't that slow Fidel but like I said earlier that was my 1st time picking up a baseball in 20 years & I was barely warmed up throwing a few at the wall before that. I'm gonna start getting serious about it next week & buy all this stuff (over $500) & post a video every week of my progress trying to get to 85 MPH by the end of the summer.

Trust me Fidel I'm not exactly doing it for the forum.. I'm bored as fukk collecting UE, not working so it gives me something to do until Sept. besides gambling. As for the ex, I'm really hoping I could hit these tennis bets just to throw it in her face & see what her reaction is cuz I'm pretty sure it's gonna be all apologetic & contrite. At that point if I'm in a good spot financially, I hate to say it but I'd probably take her back.

If you top out at 84 and didn’t pick up a ball for twenty years doubt you ever see 85. Maybe you had Tommy John surgery. Here is an idea. Put a picture of JJ on that wall. You might hit low 90’s

Ordered a 12 pack for $50..Same size as MLB official balls 5 ounces 9", sure as shit wasn't gonna spend $240 to throw the real ones against a wall. They should last 3 months if I switch them out once a week.

That was in 1994 when I was 18 so you're probably right but I'm definitely stronger now than I was then so it just might be possible with 3 months of training.

I hate watching baseball, but played a couple times. Was fun. I was hype when I was the shortstop and flicked it to 2b, and we got the double play. Still remember it like it was yesterday. Was 10 yrs ago. Retired after that.

This sounds like some sort of mid-life crisis plan you have. I tried this with hockey and it didn't work. If you can hit 95 and up though, you got a serious shot. Just tell us this is your real plan. The Rookie!

Me and my Air Force buddy both played baseball and we loved to go to the old Arlington Stadium to see the Rangers. On the other side of I-20 they had some bars that we would hit after the game. They had a net and a radar gun setup one night. I pitched in little league and our freshman team. I hit 82 mph. My buddy pitched in high school and he hit 83 or 84. We were max effort pretty much and trying to impress the ladies that were nearby. We thought we were king shit because the cowboys/locals couldn't even hit 65. A guy comes up, about our size, and just casually fires it into the net at 96 mph. Everyone is like holy shit!!! It was Steve Lyons from the White Sox. Cool dude!

By the way. I coached little league 3 years and had free batting cage access so I've seen all their speeds. You were throwing about 50 there at most

Nothing that crazy just trying to set a goal & reach it to get me through the summer while not working until my UE runs out in September.
