Here's the recent KVB MLB Contrarian Fund Market Report...
STL is on the radar, but it's only because it's a pretty deep contrarian look as the raw forecasts have SF kicking ass. The STL runline may be the play here as it on the Contrarian RL Fund radar as well.
MIA is a little closer in the Forecasts, and so is the line. While adjustments do put MIA on the contrarian radar, this is another RL Fund candidate as well.
PIT does not compete in Forecasts and the books have been blinking a bit as this line has moved under the ATL pressure. It's on the radar, and gaining value.
PHI is forecaset to lose by 2 runs but the ML giving us contrarian adjustments that get close to giving us value in the markets. That +130 is not as attractive as we'd like it to be, +140 would be nicer, but the move to get there would likely spoil the contrarian adjustments.
MIN also trails by about 2 runs in the Forecast, but they are favored. There is a little bit of a contrarian look but with all kinds of starter injuries leaving players questionable we need more time to reconcile this game.
CLE also gets beat in the forecasts but the pressure on TB has pushed them over -200, a bit of a market blink. Even so, there are contrarain adjustments and that +185 range starts to give some value.
Can't help but think some of the market blinks in this market are really less designed to curb the favor action but more designed to draw in the contrarian value players. Naturally, the line moves up would draw the dog watchers, as would be the intent, but this is a little more specific to the target audience.

NYM are not a Contrarian look but a decent look as the dog here.
So much value sapped out of that play in the early morning by those of us that didn't wake up hung over and started our betting week out immediately.
