i don think it should be a penalty for flopping. i think that if someone is caught obviously flopping then the refs should always assume they are flopping for the rest of their career unless the foul is very obvious.

In the NBA it's a techical in game.

But they also fine players after the fact if they determine there was a flop whe reviewing the games, whether or not the ref called it at the time...a fact I did not know.

Not sure who all has been fined for flopping.

I don't mind a guy trying to draw a charge but the floppers that are trying to fool the refs into a call are the worst. They should absolutely call them out in the game and charge them with a personal foul, plus 2 technical free throws, loss of possession like a flagrant. 2 of them and you are gone. my punishment is harsher than yours. one game suspension isnt that much compared to never getting any close calls or benefit of the doubts for the rest of your career. you would lose every close block/charge call and never get any of the borderline foul calls.
