But I believe this was the first 2 Ive played on the Astros this year.

So it stands out I suppose.

My opinion of today's game is Cleveland is just as capable of beating them as the lowly Orioles did.

We like to think good teams can snap out of it but if there's one thing that runs in streaks in sports, it's MLB teams in funks when it comes to hitting & scoring.

So if you're a dog bettor how does thinking force you into a pass? It sounds like you're looking to bet the favorite but don't want to until a hitting and scoring funk has passed.

Maybe you're just a Houston fan? I'm only posting because you are giving mixed messaes in your post.

It tells me you like dogs until it comes to Houston.

Houston did underperform offensively relatively speaking. They scored 12 runs in the 3 games, with 7 of them coming in the first game. In the last series against Detroit they only scored 5 runs in the last 3 games of the series after scoring 12 in game 1.

Right before Detroit they played at Balty and swept them scoring 10, 3, then 13 runs in those games.

Houston has fallen off. Meanwhile, CLE has scoed 13 runs once all season and only has 4 other games with double digit scoring...all 10 run scores.

While scoring is the most important thing in all of sports, there are better ways to assess the teams than just a recent scoring trend without even accounting for SOS.

Can't get into that now though, need to go buy Minnesota.
