Ever since she had her kid, she's struggled. That kind of happens in life in general. When you have children, you don't have the same hunger. Few guys do. The Federers and Djokovic's and Kobe's of the world.

I think she will try and give it a serious crack at the US Open. Has had good results there even in the past even though she hasn't won it since 2014. Had made it deep the past few years.
If Osaka plays it'll be tough for her though. And if not for her sake she would hope there isn't some wunderkid like Osaka deep in the draw or final that is playing well and motivated to beat her like Osaka was.
Probably needs the draw to open up a bit even more then it did in 2018 when she lost to Bianca and maybe hope her Sister is somewhere in her half to knock off a threat or two.
Needs a lot to go her way, not impossible. Sampras had plenty going his way when he won his last Major in 2002 so you never know, but it's probably harder at her age even with the even more open draw, and considering she didn't take advantage of open draws in the past this year so far...Comment -
