Portland needs a defensive coach who has coached before not a guy who has never coached anything. 27 year old players shouldn’t be running organizations. Portland is at a point where they should be contenders but their defense is trash, it makes no sense to bring in someone who has never coached before.

Even if they couldn’t find a defensive coach they could have made a move for dantoni or Carlisle.
