Last game in Nassau Coliseum tonight.

Home of some great memories for Islander fans. Not so much for us Canucks fans who were swept 4-0 in 82.

New stadium opens this fall

Yes I know many times after a blow out like last game, the team that was destroyed comes back and wins something like 2-1, and it could happen tonight. I am betting it won't.

Was there on December 23/1989. Islanders beat the penguins 8-6. Great game. Building was mostly empty though.

was in the Pacific Coliseum in 82 game 3 and 4, watched the NYI win the Cup. My Friend's dad had seasons' tickets.
