What the hell does 8 max deep stacks mean

I'm sure it means:
*8 max = max 8 players at table. Sometimes u see 6-max. 8-max just means < full ring of 9-10 players.

*Deep stack = deeper than a normal starting stack. It varies, but I think 100 Big Bland start is standard. Deep stack likely means 200 to 300 Big Blind start.

Sometimes, the Vegas daily tourneys have over-pays. There may be a $1000 payout pool, as long as the min # entries play.
