Agreed. No way they recover this time, not without Kawhi and not with CP3 returning next game. That was a disgusting finish. Gut wrenching. Paul George had played more minutes than anyone in the playoffs so far and Ty Lue chooses to give him those free throws at the end instead of Reggie Jackson. One small decision like that ends their season.

I mean I can't fault Lue for scheming an inbounds pass to Paul George in that situation... He played well in the fourth quarter to get them back in the game and he's normally a very reliable free throw shooter. It's a positive expected value decision that ended poorly.

That's an interesting note for Jackson getting the free throws. But you can't blame Lou for giving it to George, he just blew it. He folded.

What coach doesn’t force a team who has less than a second to fire a winner to shoot some sort of quick jump shot? You defend the lob at all costs, Zubac can’t jump. Failure all around. The clips could’ve volleyball tipped the missed 3 up in the air towards the 3 pt line like they do all game and time would’ve expired. A bunch of fools last night.
