I usually only bet futures when I'm majorly tilted and I'm at risk of blowing my bankroll out of frustration. You are frustrated about the Nets future so you're aggressively trying to get it back. Wimbledon is a week away, so why not chill for the time being and then start betting normally when that starts, day by day. When you were most successful, you were hitting insane parlays. Not just going all in over and over. And the slams are great times for parlays. And say you are profitable during the tournament, you can just go all in on Joker in the later stages of the tournament. For the final, I doubt he will be priced more than -400. Wimbledon is hard to bet though, as players don't spend much time on the grass. If you think you can be profitable day by day for the tournament, this is the better option.

not sure how wimbledon draw is set up where the 8 seed is to the 1 seed same side of bracket or opposite side, any who way too risky to invest that much money with crazy things like fluke injuries or even like us open joker hitting the lines person, can u imagine having futures on him there ughh

That's the thing mj, it's hard to go all in one random play cuz you don't know about the motivation factor. At least with this Future, it will get decided in 2 wks. & there's no motivation concern only injury concern.

I hear you man... just seems like it’s a long shot on the future but you are right. Any one event can be horse shit too. It’s gambling at the end of the day and anything is possible. Any value to splitting the cash up $10k/$10k and betting each guy to win all the way to the final? I know very little about tennis/tennis odds and I’m sure you have thought about every angle.

Hard to say say, going off the last draw in 2019, Nishikori was the #8 seed on the opposite half. I'll check some other draws to see if it's always like that.

It's funny man they always say parlays are a sucker's bet but that's pretty much the only reason I have 20K in the bank. Been getting crushed with all the other plays. (Futures, straight & live)

I agree parlays are the only reason I have the books money so we are fortunate in that right. I have won nearly a 100k in parlays over the last decade which has kept me a float in this industry.

That's super impressive. I gotta hand it to you, I could never lay points in a parlay or otherwise.( I'd rather just do the safer ML despite the reduced payout). I could only imagine how many times you lost with one leg cuz of a bad spread beat. Must've felt super lucky on that 8TP for 45K (looks like 2 MLs & one total could've gone either way)

Same with me you just get numb to it at some point but then when some huge Future comes in like Phil at 300 to 1 at the PGA, you think why the fukk couldn't I have just taken a flyer on somebody with his pedigree at that price for a few 100 bucks?

They are and they aren’t right?! I think long term it’s not the way to go but sprinkled in between single plays it can be lucrative. I only take shots when I am up. 5 teams max but usually 2-3 teams. I also bet heavier bases than any other sport so it’s more of a grind.

Damn man sorry to hear that, I remember reading some of your posts about your medical issues. I don't know if you're on disability or not but I could only imagine how shitty that pays. Just checked mine on ss.gov & it would be about $1600/month. If I lost my job (currently on UE but when that's over) & had a decent bankroll I guess I could live on that but considering I have virtually no medical history there's no way I'd get approved. Had to Google DDD, that's got to be brutal, I'm sure you've tried everything, I don't know if you listen to Rogan but he endorses this reverse hyper machine for back pain. As a Stern fan he used to always mention Dr. Sarno when it comes to healing back pain but that sounded more psychosomatic than anything.
