That series would have been 4-1 nets if Kyrie doesn’t get hurt. Not even competitive and guys acting like they handicapped a KD collapse. Too funny…..some classics at this place.
*His last 5 shots were missed. He hits any of them and the Nets win.

It's not about one game or one series it's about the collection of your career.

When all is said and done, a guy who averaged 20 ppg is never going to be remember as someone who averaged 28 for his career. No one will agree with you, no matter how far you travel on this earth. Sorry.
Disrespectful to Jordan and Lebron to even put Durant's name in a sentence with them.

Ya know…..they have other guys that missed wide open shots.

Wouldn't be 4-1. Would be a sweep if Harden and Irving played. Bucks had no answers for Durant. They threw everything at him. Just imagine if those 2 were there to take the pressure off. This was gonna be a warriors type 16-1 run through the finals. But is what it is.

I think what we can all agree is the moment Morino put 40 or 50 units on the Nets to win the east.... it wasn't happening.

Durant shredded Lebron in b2b finals. Durant's played Lebron 3 times in the finals, and he's averaged like 32 a game average in those 3 series'.

Jordan and Lebron are better than Durant, but Durant is the best in the world currently. That's not debatable if you want to look at things unbiasedly for a second.

And this is a guy who tore his achilles, the worst injury in sports by far. I know a couple friends who tore their achilles and they can barely run today. Kobe tore his achilles and was never the same player after. A bunch of nba players never stepped foot on an nba court again after their achilles tears. And this guy comes and does this.

If that's not toughness, I'm not sure what is. I've had surgery before on my knee and ankle and anyone that has had procedures like that knows how hard it is. And that's not close to an achilles.

Durant already going down in history and he'll be playing for the Nets next year and the team may be intact.

                His legend will only grow.

Beat by Giannis, the guy who can't hit a free throw.

It's sad bro, just admit he completely choked. Harden is healthy without Durant and they probably win.

There will be an excuse if he wins next year. "He had 2 other superstars." When he loses it's ok but when he wins, there is a "but." All good, can't be loved by everyone. One day when the league is watered down and we see the type of talent, everyone is going to appreciate a 7 footer who can dribble shoot pass block rebound and defend.

Ok now I know that you definitely don't look at things unbiasedly. Harden beats the bucks without Durant and Irving? Lol dude Kevin Durant scored 50 points in 2 games. Who's gonna make up that difference? Joe Harris?

Durant didn't choke, he was a huge underdog to win this series in anyone's book who knows basketball. He almost did it. He was one man against a better team. reminds me of kobe in 06 or 07 or whenver vs. that suns team.

Everyone said Kobe choked. He was playing with bums. Went to game 7. It was a full display of one man vs. a stacked team. Same thing here.

I dont' think anyone looks back on that and said "Kobe choked" today. his accomplishments far outweigh that.

Hitting a free throw? Does not matter. This is the nba. Shaq won 4 rings never hitting a free throw. Free throws don't mean shit.

He won nothing and joined the team that was easily going to win a championship anyways.

He is a loser regardless of whether Harden and Irving carry him next year or not.

0-5 when it counted. If he hits one of those we would be praising him.

He didn't and therefore he deserves criticism.

Durant could very well get another Finals MVP.

Don't beleive cirticism is warranted. When we critized Lebron in 2011, it was straight up because he didn't show up. He averaged 17 ppg in the nba finals. Nets were down 4 at the end of the fourth. Durant hit a shot, down 2. Durant hit another shot. Tie game. Guy dropped 50 points and played all 53 minutes off an achilles tear. Jordan and Kobe, as great as they were, and they were certainly better, would never be able to do that. KD is a once in a lifetime player.

You will see what happens to Kawhi leonard after he suffers a major injury like that. He'll never be the same player again. Because Leoanrd isn't built like Durant. He doesn't have the will to be historically great, just to be great in this era.

Giannis and Leonard were mentored by Kobe. Did you know that?

Those guys were nothing before Kobe. NOTHING. He took them to new heights.

Jordan never started an academy and trained kobe 1 on 1. Kobe trained all the guys who are playing well these last 2-3 years. All of them. Every single one.

Oh last point, no one has ever scored more points in nba history than Kevin Durant just did in game 7.

                                      Yeah, clearly a bum.

Oh last point, no one has ever scored more points in nba history than Kevin Durant just did in game 7.

                                          Yeah, clearly a bum.

Didn’t say he was bum. I said he’s not a killer. Killers exploit the other teams weaknesses and they don’t lose in round 2 in their biggest test to prove they are the best player in the nba. You said Leonard was nothing without Kobe’s trainings. Since when is working hard and training a negative?

This was his legacy game not game 5.

He will need to have a run like dirk did and then he will get that stench of needing a big 3 to win.

Epic game, if any player playing that many minutes was horrific then one team would have blown the other out.

Hardin was just messing around but he almost got a triple double.

Actually had bucks and when Durant made that shot in regulation was heart broken but knew it was coming and accepted it was a great shot by a beast, don't like Durant but guys a baller, was so relieved when replays showed foot was on the line, bucks were inches from getting eliminated from what would of been a all time clutch shot but it's now just a foot note, guy played every minute of the game and this from Achilles injury not that long ago, was thinking how much more he's body could take and a injury was coming up from the crazy minutes he has been playing, how many wasted possessions did nets waste from harden dribbling for over 20 secs then passing to Durant for a junk shot? Guy did all he could, you got to respect that even though he acts like a idiot at times with his burner accounts protecting his image from nobody's on the net

Durant an incredible player. No one can deny that. Guy is probably the most UNGUARDABLE player ever.

I only look at final scores though.
