Well, he wouldn't have let Lewa push him away like trash the way Lewa did to Laporte. Old Ramos is going to PSG so he apparently has plenty left in the tank.

Also, experienced guys like Ramos would have kicked, pulled, talked trash to Lewa ALL DAY during the game. And I don't mean obvious kicks and punches that would result in a red card but the settle ones the refs don't see but only the strikers feel. These things get in their in the players heads. If you have ever played soccer at least at a semi professional level you most certainly have experienced this.

But to do things like this you need to be experienced, a little (or a little bit more) nasty. Pussies like Laporte get himself pushed away. Players like Ramos, Maldini, Puyol make themselves felt so the attackers don't even attempt certain things.

Remember when Ramos injured Mo Salah in the Champions League final? He injured him and got away with it because he did it cleverly. Let's say Mo Salah would have been able to resume, you think he wouldn't have hesitated whenever Ramos was on him?

And lastly: Ramos is a central defender. He doesn't need to be quick. He needs to know how to position himself. He needs to know what attackers gonna do before they do it. So him being old doesn't mean anything.
