I remember years ago an old buddy saving his beer bottles plus any that friends drank while over at his apartment. Our state doesn't have any set standard for so much per bottle/can/etc. for recycling. So, after a month or so and having bags filled up all over his kitchen and in closets , lol - he finally loaded the bags up and took em to a local recycling center. Apparently it paid by the pound and I think he got like a dollar and some change. He was like "F that! I'm never recycling anything again."
