They have the first deal to do that in any ball park but there were a series of regulatory steps, etc and they never did announce a timeline to open. COVID messed it up, but maybe thery're still getting it set up with the city.

Nationals had that plan.

They announced a deal in January with BetMGM. That's why I said the Cubs were first to ink the deal. Nationals might be first to actually do it.

The mobile app they were planning to have would work within a two block radius and it is supposed to open in Nationals Park this summer. The plan was to be open year round and on the corner where it is not accessible from inside the ball park.

Anyone know if the BetMGM app in DC launched on opening day? DC allowed bets near and inside the stadium from that app.
