Well, you can blame Trump for that. I applaud him and give him credit for fast tracking it.

There's a lot of drugs that are not FDA approved. I really don't consider the FDA to be the end all be all when it comes to what's safe. Nitroglycerin isn't approved, nor is morphine which most people get for pain if they are in the hospital. Doctors still prescribe medicine that are not approved. Very few people will object to what their doctor prescribe. I listened to my pediatrician when she said my kids needed certain shots. I didn't even look at the list, they rolled up their sleeves and got shots, just like I got shots. Had to have them to go to public school. So, yes it's a way to conform. But what else are you going to do?

My girlfriend is a nurse at a very prominent hospital here in So Ca.
My sister is a doctor, my daughter is studying to be a nurse.
My mom is a retired Nurse with same prominent hospital for 30 yrs.

Like I said, I think it's an individual choice. I'm not against anyone that doesn't want to take it nor anyone that does. I have a lot of friends who won't take it. One was at my house last week. Him and his entire family got covid that very evening. I was perfectly okay. They had planned on going on a vacation and had to cancel and quarantine in place. He felt bad that he might have infected me. I was chill. He didn't know and he wouldn't have done that on purpose. I've been around several people who got sick and fortunately I've been okay, so I know the vaccine has worked for me so far. Doesn't mean it will always work, maybe I just got lucky. He had very mild symptoms, so no big deal BUT what if?? That's the strange part of this virus. Most people don't even get the sniffles but then some people drop down dead in a few days. Hopefully, they will figure out what triggers bad outcomes???

I've date several nurses and they all were very particular about germs, keeping things clean, obeying doctors. They all had very little empathy.
