Montreal will take some money( they already have). Typical playoff team with a hot goalie. They will clog up the middle and frustrate the knights. They are similar to the wild but better.

They are not better than the Wild.

They beat the Maple Leafs by fluke injuries not to mention the Leafs always choke. The Jets are just a slow team and had their top center and top dman missing.

The Knights have the better depth, better coaching, better top players, better defense. The only advantage Montreal has is Price.

Even Price being an advantage isn't necessarily true. Fleury near the top all-time playoff wins by goalies. He's no slouch. Price might only be better by a miniscule margin at this point. I'm not sure about the defense though, as I think Montreal is just as good as Vegas if not better. Certainly, DeBoer has a history of success as coach.

The layoff is the biggest issue for the habs. One week between a game. That's too long and will probably ruin all the good mojo they had. They can compete here. Colorado was soft and that goalie was awful.

The defense isn't close. The Knights have 4 number 1 pairing defensemen. The Habs have 2.

I admit I was wrong though and they are much better than I thought. They were the 18th best team all year and most years don't make the playoffs with their record. Those are facts.

But they have been really good hockey the last couple rounds.
