Why is Beverley out there?

He's been good on defense... The Clippers would've never cut into the deficit like they did without a lot of stops. Obviously he's a liability on offense. Luke Kennard is the inverse, can provide offense but gets cooked on defense.

I mean WTF, this series feels like it should be a split right now but here the Clips are again, down 0-2. If Conley continues to sit I still think the Clippers have a chance to win the series but they are frustrating as hell.

If they eliminate the three-point shot I can pretty much guarantee the Clippers storm back and take the series. Outside of that, can't take anything for granted with this team... They've won one game in L.A. so far.

looking at this team I dont think of any of their players as 3 pt shooters except kennard yet as a team they led the league in 3 pt shooting percentage, they make the extra pass and find the open man. they also play small for the most part and lack size in starting lineup, maybe if conley was playing these games wouldnt have ended as close as they have

That's what I stated earlier in a different thread... The numbers aren't substantiated by the eye test. Marcus Morris for instance was 47.3% from distance during the regular season. That's a phenomenal number, 2nd in the entire league in fact only to Joe Harris. But you watch the guy shoot and he looks like every other power forward in the league, he doesn't stroke it well at all really. Jackson is streaky as hell and you can tell he's not a pure shooter because when he misses, he misses badly. Leonard has his moments, but his shot always looks flat coming off his hands, he's much more deadly in the midrange game. Their best pure shooter is Kennard and his minutes are limited because the Jazz hunt him on the defensive end anytime he's in the game.

The Jazz on the other hand have several guys you just know are gonna sink open looks and one of them hasn't even played in the series yet.
