He called me like 2 years ago after he had went dark for months. He wasn't the same. It was a very weird conversation. I don't know if he was high on something but he was making no sense and asked some sketchy questions. I haven't talked to the guy since and quite honestly, after that last conversation didn't care too. I always liked the guy and enjoyed talking to him. Not sure what happened but he wasn't the same at the end.

I'm pretty sure he was a Russian hacker that was probably getting paid to pump disinformation. Most likely had to go underground with a brand new identity when the gig was up.

He transformed in to an ultra Russian nationalist at some point and I think it's a strong possibility he's part of these Russian ransomware groups.
