Baseball I mean. I might go over small just for the hell of it. (NYM/SD)
In all my years of betting, I don't think I've ever seen a total of 5.5

#3Yes he is. It only takes a few bounces of the ball though to go over 5.5. I'm not really recommending it, but I'll give it a shot.Originally posted by unde0087DeGrom is that goodComment -

#4One thing I've learned, if they are making the line at 6.5, or less, the oddsmakers REALLY wish they could make it lower than that.Comment -

#6I agree and that's why I went small. I think Musgrove might give up just enough runs (although he is good too.)Originally posted by Mr KLCOne thing I've learned, if they are making the line at 6.5, or less, the oddsmakers REALLY wish they could make it lower than that.Comment -

It happend 4 times on May 29th of this year, with two of those being 5, and twice on May 27th with one of those being 5. There was a 5 on May 4th and a 5.5 on April 21st. Before that it happened 4 times in September last year.
That's twelve times since last September.
It's happened 36 times in the last 10 years but a third of them in the last two seasons. You have to go back to 2016 to get the next one and 2011 had 12 instances itself.
The OVER is 17-19 in those 36 times and of those last 12 the OVER is 6-6.
So it happens.

#11Kershaw was in 14 of those 36 games.
Tim Lincecum in 6.
Cory Luebke and Mat Latos were each in 5 of them.

#12I remember once long ago, this may have been ten years ago, I took under 6.5 in a game featuring two guys who were killing it, I can’t remember who. Want to say Greinke and someone else, their WHIPs at the time were like .6 and .7 or some shit. And it was 1-0 going into the 9th and the final ended up being 5-1. It won but the whole time I was like “you gotta be fukking KIDDING me.” So yes, just takes a little here and there to get to 6 runs, and most likely neither starter will go the distance so yeah, not the worst idea on earth.Originally posted by hawkeye 16Yes he is. #27I'm kind of embarrassed now. In my defense, I take a lot of the summer off (not all of it though).
Next time I see that, I'm going under.
