Euro 2021 (aka Euro 2020) starts Friday, June 11th, so welcome to the SBR Euro 2021 Soccer Contest with "betting style" scoring.
This contest is open to all with SBR Pros competing for a total prize pool of $250 in Bitcoin.
The contest kicks off with Match 1 of the Group Stage, Italy vs. Turkey on Friday, June 11th at 3:00PM ET, and ends with the Final from Wembley Stadium in London on Sunday, July 11th.
You must make EXACTLY 25 picks over the course of the contest (no more, no less) and the picks will be graded as To Win 1.00 unit if odds are (-) or Risking 1.00 unit if odds are (+). For point of reference, there are 36 Group Stage games and 15 Knockout games from the Round of 16 onward for 51 games total.
Lines will be posted in this thread, and once they are they will remain static and will not change.
Odds for all Match 1s of the Group Stage will posted Wednesday, June 9th at approximately 11:00AM ET. Odds for future matches will be posted no later than two days before match dates.
We will be posting Goal Lines during the Group Stage ensuring each line has a .5 so there can be no ties, but remember that Standings will be based on UNITS so pay close attention to the odds attached to the goal lines.
Then starting with the Knockout Round of 16 we will be posting To Advance Lines, meaning that everything counts (Regulation Time + Extra Time + Penalty Kicks), so the team that literally advances is the winner. The Final Winner will be the team hoisting the cup, so again everything counts.
Standings will be based on units, with the tiebreaker being Total Wins. If tied in units and wins, the prizes split.
SBR Pro Prizes:
1st. $150
2nd. $60
3rd. $40
If a Non-Pro finishes in FIRST PLACE ONLY, he or she receives a FREE one-year SBR Pro Membership with the BTC rolling down to the top 3 SBR Pros. Other non-pros in the Top 3 will be ignored with BTC prizes simply rolling down.
Must be SBR Pro no later than 11:59PM ET Friday, June 25th to qualify for the Pro Prizes.
