This is where that trend ends BTJ. Unlike most people I never bought into the LAC being a fraud. For whatever reason this is a bad match up for them but all they have to do is get through it & they'll be just fine. (Reminds me of 2007 Celtics to some extent who needed 7 games to beat a 37 win Hawks team in the 1st round, then won it all.. obv. home team won every game but still..) Fully expecting the LAC to come out of the West (No significant injuries unlike Utah, Den & Pho) to lose in 6 against the Nets.

I tend to agree with you might not lay the points though, but ML definitely intriguing to pair with another game for a two teamer. I appreciate your thoughts on game 7 regarding this series.

If the Mavs are a bad matchup for the Clippers, then the Jazz will be a nightmare for them. Clippers halfcourt offense has looked stagnant for a lot of this series and their 3 point shooting has been abysmal. The only reason they're still alive is that the Mavericks just aren't very good outside of Doncic. If the Clippers give Utah as many open looks as they've given Dallas, the Jazz shooters will make it rain. And Gobert isn't gonna cede any easy buckets in the paint.

I'm only looking ahead because I have a future on the Clips to win the West so I hope you're right, but I'm feeling less confident about it now than I was at the start of the playoffs. Hopefully being battle tested in this round will pay dividends in the next. Utah could be fresh and ready to roll or over-rested and rusty. Jazz have one of the better home court advantages in the league as well.

You make a lot of good points & with a fully healthy Conley, UTA will def. be favored but it's just hard to get a good gauge on them considering how bad Memphis' roster is. Assuming the LAC wins Sun. that will be 7 out of 8 teams with HCA. Obv. this isn't a great handicapping measure, but I do like BKLN, PHI, & PHO (barely) to advance in the next round so the 1 team I like wo. HCA is the LAC.
