This hardly ever happens to me, but it did tonight.
I liked Phoenix, thinking about them wrapping it up tonight. Yes, and with LA-1, had me believing AD was not playing tonight.
A rookie mistake by playing too soon and too confident, also, too soon.
And I have cussed for 45 minutes, knowing I could have had at least plus 1 more point with Phoenix.

Luck be with me but I'll believe it when I see it.

This is why you simply cannot play sporting events til near game time.

I usually find when I'm stressing about a half point or point it ends up not even mattering. Line won't be close.

Yes, you are probably right with that idea. I simply didn't like the point-spread moving as soon as I played Phoenix, like within 25 minutes. That was a few hours ago. That was a bad play by playing too far from tip off.

Thanks for the boosting, guys. I just lost 2 games Weds, one by a 1/2 point and the other by 1 point, if it wasn't tied and went into OT.
I was still a bit shell shocked, seeing those two close losses. And when you fail to get that extra 1 point or even 1 1/2, tonight, I thought I may have been jinxed?

Not quite without stress. LA was as close as 10. right? And plenty of time left while playing at home and in a desperate mindset to take no prisoners. While Phoenix knew there were going home if the game went bad in the 4th qt. Not a life threatening situation for those Sun's.
The major crying I did, was for missing out on another plus 1, possibly 2 points. Now that was scary.

How many thousands, and sure, trillions have been lost by a 1/2 point in any sport? It's frightening, like a nightmare coming true. You start to believe, many times, fate, or the jinx is working against you.
And after a mindboggling, whisker loss, can you get your brains unscrambled, back to the point where you can handicap a game with your best, crispy, logical thinking?
