Another first round exit for Westbrook. 4 first round exits since 2016 (Durant left).
2021 - Played with Bradley Beal, second leading scorer in the league. Eliminated in the first round by Embiid.
2019 - Played with Paul George, Schroeder, Jeremy Grant, and Adams. Eliminated in the first round by Damian Lillard.
2018 - Played with Paul George, Carmelo, Adams, and Grant. Eliminated in the first round by Donnovan Mitchell.
2017 - Played with Oladipo, Grant, Adams. Averaged 37 points on 39% fg percentange (LMFAO). Eliminated in the first round by Harden.

If this guy is not the most overrated player of this generation, I don't who is.

Hate this guy. Everybody made a big deal out of his Triple Double run. His efficiency is horrible.

Eff FG% is terrible, compared to his peers. 47 to 48%, most years. The good players blow that away.

EZ to accumulate pts & ast when he's holding the ball and either shooting/passing on almost every possession. Guy blows.
Where's the fuckin power box, Carol?

Except Malone never played with anyone nearly as good as Durant. Unless of course you want to count Kobe and Shaq but Malone was already washed at that point and that was his last year I think.

This guy Westbrook couldn't even with with one of the top 10 greatest players of all time. Such a clown.

Not a single one of those guys that he played have proven to be elite including Paul George. I don’t think it’s a fair argument. Lebron didn’t win titles on his own and he’s the best player in this generation. He needed two elite hall of famers, then he need Irving to hit a miracle three and draymond to get suspended then he needed the best power forward in the game.
No one is winning titles in this league without 3 elite players period except lebron

Durant didn’t know how to win though until he played with killers. Westbrook got a harden who hadn’t reached his abilities yet and a Durant who didn’t know how to win

Russ would be a great 1 on 1 player or big 3 player, even nba regular season play, but his play is not for the NBA playoffs.

That sounds like a shitload of excuses.

And besides, I didn't say anything about a championship. I said this guy has been bounced in the first round 4 out of the 5 years since he left Durant. Do you have more excuses for him losing those series' when he clearly has better talent surrounding him?

Well the excuse is valid. The talent he had wasn’t as good as the other teams. I don’t think anyone is claiming Westbrook is a top 20 player in this league so is it fair to judge him at that level?
Also Durant left Westbrook not the other way around

Can get the triple double just messing around, but can't get a team to advance.

                            Such a baller.

Westbrook not a top 20 player?!

Literally everyone thinks westbrook is top 10. Top 20 is not even a question. The guy has multiple all star game mvps. You don't do that as a top 30 player. He's clearly a top 15 player and it's not even debatable. Only elite players win all star game mvp, let alone 2. So let's put that to bed.

Secondly, Westbrook had far better teams than the teams that eliminated him. Harden's second best player on that team was Lou Williams. Portland had Lillard, Mccollum and Myers Leonard as their "big 3." Joke. Jazz weren't shit in 2018, Westbrook had the far superior team with George and Melo.

No more excuses for this guy. Probably the best PG in NBA history without a championship or any kind of deep/significant run, despite playing with some of the best players of this generation. He's by far the most athletic player in general, ever to step foot on an NBA court. A 6'3 guard that averages more boards than 99% of centers. It will never happen again as long as we're alive.

KD left because Westbrook makes boneheaded plays down the stretch of games.

he owns the triple double record

i remember watching some okc games a few years back and every chance guys had to grab a rebound if westbrook was also in the area and defenders weren't they would sag away and let him go get it...

useless record to keep the teams he's on "watchable" for fans
